Patrick has over 12 years’ experience working as an environmental and resource management lawyer.  Over this time, he has worked on a broad range of legal matters and has appeared in the High Court, the Environment Court and in Commissioner-led hearings.


Patrick has represented some of New Zealand’s largest companies, key infrastructure operators, local government entities, private developers and individuals.


Patrick has a broad practice with a special interest in urban development, coastal projects, farming and freshwater, climate change, and working with historic heritage.  He is based in Auckland but practises throughout New Zealand.


Patrick prides himself as being across the latest legal and policy developments and co-convenes The Law Association’s Environment and Resource Management Committee.  Patrick is also a member of the Resource Management Law Association.


Outside work, Patrick enjoys spending time with his wife and two young children, and when time allows, playing golf and going fishing.
