The first named accused is a rich lister (name suppressed) charged with three counts of indecent assault and two of perverting the course of justice. He is represented by Mr David Jones QC and Gemma Aspell. Simon Foote QC leads the prosecution team together with Henry Benson-Pope and Linda Sullivan.
Together with Rachael Reed QC, member Yvonne Wang represents the influential businessman’s manager (name suppressed), who is facing one charge of perverting the course of justice.
The trial has received significant and ongoing media coverage. The trial continues and is expected to run until 25 March 2021 (estimated).
