  • Currently Counsel in challenges to the exercise of powers by the Commissioner of Inland Revenue under the Tax Administration Act.
  • Currently Counsel in litigation between participants in the telecommunications industry.
  • Currently Counsel for the defence of prosecutions under the Resource Management Act.
  • Currently Counsel in Construction Contracts Act litigation in the High Court and Court of Appeal.

  • Co-author New Zealand Law Society text “Introduction to Advocacy".
  • Author of New Zealand Law Society seminar papers “Serious Fraud in New Zealand”.
  • 1990-1992 Law reporter, New Zealand Law Reports.
  • 1994 - Author of paper “Recent New Zealand Efforts to Combat Environmental Crime” for the International Society for Reform of Criminal Law, published Criminal Law Forum January 1996.
  • 1997 - Co-presenter with Honourable Justice Blanchard and J Fogerty QC NZLS Seminar Appellate Advocacy.
  • Has delivered conference papers on sports law issues and is a member of ANZSLA.
  • Has chaired Appeal Tribunals for National Sporting Bodies.
  • Has delivered conference papers for the New Zealand Bar Association.
