General Background
Daisy's practice covers advice and advocacy in a broad range of commercial disputes, including high-profile intellectual property litigation, judicial review, contract disputes, and insurance and insolvency matters. She has also advised and acted in connection with both seeking and opposing applications for interim relief and has been appointed by the New Zealand Courts as independent counsel to supervise the execution of search orders (formerly known as Anton Piller orders).
She served as the Judge's Clerk to the Right Honourable Justice Gault at the New Zealand Court of Appeal from 2001 to 2003 and was in practice as a solicitor at Bell Gully in Auckland before joining the separate bar in late 2005, initially to work with Andrew Brown QC.
